Sheet Pan Chicken Parmesan Dinner

  • spray a sheet pan with nonstick cooking spray
  • add the flour to ta shallow dish in a second shallow dish whisk together the breadcrumbs cheese garlic powder parsley basil oregano salt and pepper in a third shallow dish whisk the eggs until uniform
  • using a fork or your hands dip a chicken breast into the flour for a light coating shaking it gently to remove any excess dip the breast in the egg and then place it into the breadcrumb mixture pressing gently so the breadcrumbs coat the breast evenly set aside on a plate and repeat process with remaining chicken
  • place the breasts on the sheet pan and bake on middle rack of oven for 15 minutes
  • flip the chicken and bake for an additional 15 minutes until golden brown
  • remove the chicken from the oven and spoon on the sauce top sauced chicken with the sliced mozzarella return the chicken to the oven and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown and chicken has reached an internal temperature of 165u00b0f
  • check to see that chicken is done remove from oven or add time as needed allow the dish to rest for 5 minutes
  • transfer the chicken to a plate with some extra marinara sauce and serve hot
